Can I Still Get A Pass?

There are a variety of passes for the overall festival that you can purchase should you want a more comprehensive experience. They include a certain number of event tickets, access to pass holders-only areas and other exclusive experiences. Click here to see what’s available.

Are My Passes and Tickets Refundable?

BFF Passes are non-refundable, single event passes may only be exchangeable at the festival box office based on availability and at the sole discretion of BFF.

Where are Films Screened?

This year, films will be screened at Record North, Skylight Cinema, the Walmart Museum World Room and The Meteor. Outdoor films are screened at the Sony & Orville Redenbacher Outdoor Theatre at Lawrence Plaza. Click on the Map icon for exact addresses and locations.

When Should I Arrive for my Film or Event?

Ticket holders and pass holders must arrive at least 15 minutes before showtime for admission. However, early arrival does not guarantee admission. General admission seating for ticket holders and pass holders is available on a first-come, first served basis

What If I Was Unable To Get A Ticket But I Still Want to Go To A Movie or Panel?

Ticketed events, excluding the Marvel Experience, will offer Stand-By lines. It may be possible to obtain a seat by waiting in this queue but it’s not guaranteed.

What is Priority Admission?

Priority Admission Pass holders are admitted to screenings before other pass and ticket holders. There will be a designated line for Priority Admission at each venue. ALL pass and ticket holders must be seated 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

If I have a pass, can I still get into a screening that is “sold out?”

Yes! A capped number of individual tickets are sold to each screening in deference to pass holders. Pass holders must be seated at least 15 minutes prior to show time, after that you will be seated on a first come, first serve basis, at the discretion of the venue manager.

Why Can’t I Get A Ticket for Certain Films & Events?

Certain BFF films and events are invitation-only and are reserved for VIP guests including sponsors and passholders.

Is there a limit to how many tickets I can buy?

Each guest may purchase up to 4 tickets per screening per order, with a maximum number of 20 tickets total per order.

How do I purchase same-day tickets for a screening?

Tickets can be purchased online up until 8:00 a.m. the morning of the screening. After this time, tickets can be purchased in person at the box office up to an hour before the screening. Beginning one hour before the screening, any remaining tickets can be purchased directly at the screening venue.

What happens if I lose/forget/misplace tickets that I picked up or printed at home?

We generally do not issue reprints, so please make sure to keep your tickets safe once they are printed. Any exceptions are at the sole discretion of a Box Office Manager.

Are The Films Family Friendly?

Many of BFF’s films are family friendly, specifically those playing at the Marvel Experience and the Sony & Orville Redenbacher Theatre in Lawrence Plaza. Please note that most of the films featured in the Spotlight and Competition Film sections have not yet been rated by the MPAA. Parental discretion is advised. However, there are lots of family friendly activities at BFF! Please note, film screenings do not allow babes in arms.

Are There Free Films? (Will include this section, but need to confirm content)

All films playing at the Marvel Experience At Skylight and the Sony & Orville Redenbacher Theatre in Lawrence Plaza are free of charge. Tickets must be secured for the Marvel films at the Skylight box office beginning April 29.

Are BFF’s Venues ADA Accessible?

Yes, all venues are ADA accessible.

What are Discussion Events and Panels?

BFF’s Discussion Events and Panels  are one hour sessions where you can learn more about diversity and inclusion in media, awareness and changes that we call all begin to make now to make our world more inclusive. Panels may include celebrities, entertainment industry executives, experts and changemakers.

What Celebrities will be at this years BFF?

Each year we have different celebrities, filmmakers and industry professionals who attend the festival. You will see many familiar faces this year at a film, during a Q&A at after a film, on a panel, a red carpet or just walking down the street.

What are Sony & Orville Redenbacher Outdoor Theatre and Inclusion Town and Are They Free?

Each of these areas, located around the 21c Museum Hotel, are filled with interactive experiences, free samples, giveaways and more. These areas are all free and open to the public. No ticket is needed to attend this portion of the festival. Click on Map icon for more information.

Is There A Lost + Found?

The festival’s lost and found area is located at the main box office at the 21c Museum Hotel (200 NE A St.)

How Do I Get Around?

    • BFF Shuttle Service: Daily Shuttle Service will run every 20 minutes between Lawrence Plaza, Sheraton Four Points, Walmart World Room, The Record and Skylight Cinemas.
      • Tuesday: 6:00pm-1:00am
        • Sheraton Four Points to 21C only
      • Wednesday-Saturday: 9:00am-1:00am
    • Ridesharing: Both Uber and Lyft operate in Bentonville.
    • Parking: There are many free parking lots available within walking distance of Bentonville Square. For a map of locations visit: this convenient map.

Where Can I Stay?

Contact BFF’s guestservices@bentonvillefilmfestival.com for a list of partner hotels. Shuttle service is available daily from Four Points Sheraton which is centrally located. AirB&B and other rental sites are also available and there are several homes are for rent within walking distance of the festival. Bentonville also offers many hotel options that are within a short driving distance to the festival. We suggest booking early!

Where Should I Eat?

There are many restaurants and food trucks within walking distance to the festival, with all sorts of cuisine options including burgers, Mexican, Asian, Pizza, Crepes, Fine Dining and more. What Else Can I Do Between Movies and Events?

Within Bentonville Square or a short walking distance are many uniquely Bentonville attractions including the Walmart Five and Dime and Walmart Museum, the 21c Museum Galleries, walking trails and the renowned Crystal Bridges American Museum of Art.
