To celebrate the TRANSFORMERS 40th Anniversary, go back to where in all begin in September of 1984 when the series, The Transformers, first aired on television. The first three episodes that aired were part of a mini-series call “More Than Meets the Eye” that starts four million years ago on planet Cybertron where the Energon supply is running low after years of civil war between the Autobots, led by the heroic Optimus Prime, and the Decepticons, led by the evil Megatron. In a desperate state, the Autobots leave Cybertron in search of a new energy source. With the Decepticons hot on their trail they have a vicious space battle resulting in both ships crash landing on earth. Having sustained severe damages, the robots lie dormant until present day when a volcanic eruption rattles their systems back online. After completing repairs, the Decepticons set out to steal every last drop of Earth’s energy in order to get back to Cybertron and fuel the planet. But the Autobots, along with their new human friends, proceed on an epic mission to protect Earth and stop the Decepticons.
